Episode 8 Summary:
After awakening to powers she never asked for, the young woman stands at the edge of disbelief and fear. Her newfound strength, instead of protecting life, has brought death — a pride of lions lies motionless in the sand. Guilt weighs on her like the desert heat. Seeking redemption, she digs a vast pit beneath the burning sun and lays the lions to rest, her hands trembling as if to bury her own mistakes.
Time passes. The desert remains silent — until a whisper of sand brushes her shoulder. She turns, uneasy. Something is wrong. Rushing back to the pit, her heart stops: a massive desert serpent is there, twisting through the earth, devouring the fallen lions she had tried to honor.
She runs forward to stop it, crying out in desperation — but the beast turns its wrath upon her. The air quivers with its hiss. She reaches deep within herself, trying to summon the same force that once obeyed her will — but nothing comes. Fear replaces power.
