Delegations of negotiators from Hamas and Israel are expected to be joined by more officials from the United States and Qatar as they continue their discussions of the US-brokered peace plan on Oct 8 to end the two-year-old Hamas-Israel war in Gaza.
Pope Leo on Oct 7 continued to press for peace, saying that the second anniversary of the war had been two painful years for Palestinians and Israelis.
