Teachers are better suited to be appointed as wardens for boarding schools under the Education Ministry, said Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (Oct 8).
He said the ministry also welcomed the proposal to appoint retired police and army officers as full-time wardens, which is currently being done under a pilot project at MRSM.
