NU comes from behind to beat Adamson in UAAP 88
National University turns back Adamson University, 56-54, in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 8, 2025. The Bulldogs climbed back from 11 points down, 41-52, as they went on a 15-2 finishing kick to deny the Falcons, bouncing back from their loss to the UP Fighting Maroons last Oct. 4. NU improved to 4-1 for second place while Adamson suffered its third straight loss and dropped to 1-4. Jake Figueora led NU with 17 points, including the 3-point play in the last 53 seconds and the split from the line following a flagrant foul by Adamson's Emmanuel Anabo.
