Trump’s move can be implemented even sooner, 'depending on any further actions or changes taken by China'. This leads Trump administration to impose 100 percent tariffs of China “over & above any Tariff that they are currently paying”. Trump claims that China’s plan, ‘devised years ago’, is a ‘threat to all countries, without exception’. Trump, however, has not cancelled meeting with China's Xi, he told media after posting on the Truth Social announcement.
