The Colombian army presents its first drone battalion to attack and defend itself against illegal armed groups such as guerrillas, which use this type of aircraft to target uniformed personnel and civilians in a modality that has transformed the armed conflict. "The conflict in Colombia has developed based on certain technological advances, especially given by these small unmanned aircraft," says General Carlos Padilla, commander of the Army Aviation division.
