Nine Malaysian activists detained by Israeli forces during a Gaza-bound humanitarian mission returned home safely on Sunday (Oct 12) to an emotional welcome at Terminal One of KL International Airport (KLIA).
NGO Humanitarian Care Malaysia (MyCARE) chairman Datuk Seri Prof Dr Kamal Nasharuddin Mustapha thanked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Turkish authorities for their efforts in securing the activists’ release.
