In Gobi (Season 2, Episode 1), Ed Stafford is dropped into the vast, arid expanses of the Gobi Desert. With blistering daytime heat, freezing nights, very little water, and minimal plant or animal life, Ed’s survival skills are pushed to their limits. He must find or create shade to escape the sun, conserve water, avoid predators, find whatever edible resources exist, and endure the extremes of desert life without tools, food, or rescue. This episode is a fierce study in endurance, resourcefulness, and the human will to survive under ruthless isolation.
