Wind, waves and high tides hammer the mid-Atlantic

The mid-Atlantic is cleaning up today after a coastal storm hammered the region with gusty onshore winds, rain, rough surf and repeated high-tide flooding, swamping low-lying neighborhoods and chewing away at already eroded beaches.
