गूगल ने आंध्र प्रदेश में आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (एआई) डेटा सेंटर हब बनाने के लिए अगले पांच वर्षों में 15 अरब डॉलर (करीब 1.25 लाख करोड़ रुपये) निवेश की घोषणा की है। यह भारत में कंपनी का अब तक का सबसे बड़ा निवेश होगा।गूगल क्लाउड के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी थॉमस कुरियन ने नई दिल्ली में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में कहा कि, ‘यह अमेरिका के बाहर हमारा सबसे बड़ा एआई हब होगा।’ उन्होंने बताया कि अल्फाबेट इंक की यूनिट यह हब विशाखापट्टनम में विकसित करेगी, जिसकी क्षमता 1 गीगावॉट होगी।
Google has announced an investment of $15 billion (about Rs 1.25 lakh crore) over the next five years to build an Artificial Intelligence (AI) data centre hub in Andhra Pradesh. This will be the company's largest investment in India so far. "This will be our largest AI hub outside the US," Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said at an event in New Delhi. He said that the Alphabet Inc. unit will develop this hub in Visakhapatnam, which will have a capacity of 1 GW.
