Mechanic-drivers of the “Yars” mobile intercontinental ballistic missile complex successfully passed their final exams after an intensive technical training period.

Junior military specialists from the Technical School of the Strategic Missile Forces of Russia completed their training and were certified after demanding qualification tests conducted at a specialized military autodrome.

During the practical phase, the future mechanic-drivers demonstrated precision and control while maneuvering vehicles weighing tens of tons through narrow passages and complex terrain, proving their readiness to operate one of the world’s most powerful nuclear deterrence systems — the PGRK “Yars.”

Before the practical tests, the servicemen underwent theoretical assessments covering both general troop disciplines and the detailed structure and operation of the “Yars” complex — a system designed to ensure the Russian Federation’s strategic nuclear response capability.

The technical school is equipped with a modern training base featuring high-fidelity simulators and 3D graphics, allowing students to refine their driving and operational skills under various terrain and weather conditions — an essential factor for the tactical deployment of the “Yars” in real-world scenarios.
