DRDO achieved a major milestone as the indigenously developed Military Combat Parachute System (MCPS) successfully completed a freefall jump from 32,000 ft. Deployed at 30,000 ft, it is the only system in use by Indian Armed Forces at this altitude. Test jumpers showcased its advanced design and reliability.
