Road closures during the 47th Asean Summit will be implemented in stages and only at specific times, not around the clock, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
Fahmi, who is also the Madani Government spokesman, said the closures will mainly occur during the arrivals of visiting leaders, affecting routes between the Bunga Raya Complex at KLIA or the RMAF Subang Air Base and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), the summit venue, as well as their accommodations.
He advised the public to plan their travel and follow official traffic updates to avoid disruptions during the summit.
