Cartoons are not just a source of humour but also an important medium to promote unity and convey positive messages to society, said National Unity Ministry secretary-general Datuk Haslina Abdul Hamid.
Speaking at the Festival Kartun Perpaduan at National Museum on Saturday (Oct 18), Haslina said unity remains the foundation for Malaysia’s success in various fields, including the creative arts.
