High jump record holder dreams to suit up for Mapua
Franklin Catera of Iloilo City soars to a gold medal and shatters the boys' high jump record at the 2025 Batang Pinoy Games on Oct. 28, 2025 at the Antonio C. Acharon Sports Complex in General Santos City. Catera, who also holds the record from the previous edition, demonstrated his formidable skill by clearing 2.04 meters (m), eclipsing his own benchmark of 1.98m. He also added that he dreams to suit up for Mapua University.
