Ateneo takes out UE, snaps 5-game skid
Ateneo de Manila University takes University of the East out of Final Four contention and snaps its 5-game skid with a 78-74 escape in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Nov. 5, 2025. Kymani Ladi came through with 16 points and nine boards for Ateneo, which kept the cellar-dwelling Red Warriors winless at 0-10. The Blue Eagles improved to 5-5 for a share of fifth place with the Adamson Soaring Falcons as of posting time. Precious Momowei amassed 19 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks to pace UE.
