Watch this shocking video in which a shark accidentally comes to the shore before quickly turning tail and swimming back into deep water.
Alex Bryant from Dorset, UK, was recording his day out on the beach when suddenly he captured a shark speedily swimming towards the shore.
The shark, following a small fish in order to hunt it for lunch, almost lands on the shore before realising its mistake and returning back to the sea.
Alex said: “The shark swam so fast towards the beach that for a second there, I was actually scared, even though I was a good distance away from where it touched the beach.
“I could see that it was following a fish to catch it, and was led here.
“Good thing it realised where it was going and quickly swam back into the water.”
