In a heartwarming moment at the Banaras railway station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi listened intently as a young schoolboy recited a beautiful poem before flagging off the new Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express. This train route connects some of India’s most revered cultural and religious sites, including Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Khajuraho. The Vande Bharat Express will significantly cut travel time and boost tourism.
