Guilty Gear X is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Sammy Studios. The second installment of the Guilty Gear series, Guilty Gear X was developed over a period of about two years after the first game's success. It was released in July 2000 for Japanese arcades, re-released on Dreamcast in December 2000, and later ported to PlayStation 2 in November 2001 and Game Boy Advance in January 2002.

Some people said the game is too easy. To be honest...depending on the difficulty you play here, the AI is either too unresponsive (Easy difficulty, the opponent's AI barely made a move or act while in Very Hard difficulty, their AI may move and act first as soon as the fight start. In that case, you should pick the hardest difficulty if you really want Guilty Gear to play like Mortal Kombat (I don't really trust Game Informer and Metacritic here somehow. I wouldn't trust IGN either since journalists nowadays filled with people who don't play games)

First run...May, her attack range is short but heavy and she doesn't rely too much on button spamming compared to who? Jam or Chipp (These two rely on button combination to execute special attack and Tension Attack). It has been a while since last time I played this game (It's been a decade already yet I remember a bit of how to play the game in default setting as former Venom, Zato-1 and Dizzy player)
