Marcos warns local officials on 'chill mode' amid disasters
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. does not want local officials to be on 'chill mode' during disasters and calamities, says Malacañang on Nov. 11, 2025. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) was now looking into the reports that several local officials traveled abroad at the height of Super Typhoon Uwan’s onslaught.
