Hyderabad: A shocking incident was reported from Balaji Enclave in Cheeriyal under Keesara police limits, where a group of hijras allegedly assaulted a house owner for refusing to pay ₹1 lakh during his housewarming ceremony.
According to police, the homeowner, Sadanandam, declined to pay the demanded amount, after which around 15 hijras returned and brutally attacked him and his family. Sadanandam sustained serious injuries.
Based on his complaint, police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
