The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has been urged to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technology to boost the efficiency and accuracy of its operations, particularly in managing traffic data and road safety, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said.
Speaking at the launch of the Fourth Special PDRM Dialogue 2025 on Thursday (Nov 13), he said AI applications could help the police process and analyse information quickly and precisely, including identifying outstanding traffic summonses and compounds, which currently total RM6bil.
