Govt to ramp up public spending to boost growth
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Nov. 13, 2025 says the government will ramp public spending to boost year-end economic growth, which was dragged down by a corruption scandal. In a press conference in Malacañang, Marcos said the drop in economic growth and the value of peso could not be solely attributed to the anti-corruption probe on public infrastructure but also on the global situation.
