प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने एक बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए अल फलाह यूनिवर्सिटी के संस्थापक और चांसलर जावेद अहमद सिद्दीकी (Jawed Ahmed Siddiqui) को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। कोर्ट ने उन्हें 13 दिनों की ED रिमांड पर भेज दिया है। यह गिरफ्तारी मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग (Money Laundering) के गंभीर आरोपों के तहत की गई है। जांच एजेंसी को शक है कि यूनिवर्सिटी और ट्रस्ट के जरिए आए पैसों का इस्तेमाल गलत गतिविधियों में किया गया है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, ED अब जावेद अहमद से 13 दिनों तक पूछताछ करेगी जिसमें 'पाक कनेक्शन' और दिल्ली ब्लास्ट (Delhi Blast) जैसी घटनाओं से जुड़े तारों को खंगाला जाएगा।
