1955 science fiction film This Island Earth actor Jeff Morrow may bear a resemblance to movie director Steven Spielberg & another actor, actress or group from some movie, TV series, etc. I was not quite sure of. Connections:
- I rewatched This Island Earth after a line in classic Star Trek episode All Our Yesterdays caught my attention. A scene in this has Kirk speak to an alien, The Prosecutor, who asks where he is from. Kirk responds (paraphrasing) by saying "An Island called Earth".
- Spielberg was instrumental in Star Trek coming back in 2009, convincing director J.J. Abrams to re-invision the series for a new audience.
- Rhodes Reason (brother of This Island Earth star Rex Reason) was in 1968 classic Trek episode Bread & Circuses. Ian Wolfe was in this one and All Our Yesterdays.
- Rhodes Reason was in King Kong Escapes in 1967. Kong made a cameo in Spielberg's 2018 virtual reality film Ready Player One.
