When floodwaters cut off roads and made boats too dangerous, Malaysian rescuers used shipping containers to evacuate stranded citizens.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan told Parliament that many Malaysians were moved from Hat Yai recently using shipping containers.
