Police have identified 874 flood-prone locations across Johor as part of early preparations for the Northeast monsoon, which is expected to bring heavy rain until January 2026.
State police chief Comm Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said a total of 1,280 officers and personnel are currently on standby, supported by more than 900 assets that can be mobilised at any time if flooding occurs.
