Watch the touching moment three stranded ducklings are rescued from a roadside drain and later reunited with their mother in Miami.
Carlos Rivero from Florida, USA, heard faint peeping while pumping gas early in the morning but couldn’t spot any birds nearby.
After checking a nearby drain, he discovered three tiny ducklings trapped below and immediately contacted animal services.
He was redirected to the Miami-Dade non-emergency line, which then dispatched firefighters to the scene.
The video shows the crew carefully lifting the ducklings out of the drain before Carlos takes them home to dry and warm them.
In a heartwarming twist, the mother duck happened to wander past his house shortly after and the rescued ducklings ran straight to her, rejoining their family.
Carlos shared the moment online, One user commented: “thank you for saving them!!!”
