1. 1 Hour
Max 10 minutes presentation from each group based upon template circulated beforehand:
Template
Formation How did the group originate/form?
Membership How is your organisation managed/led?
Goals Describe the 3 most important aims/objectives/goals of the group/ community you represent.
Technology Was any technology used to support/promote the group?
How were/are the decisions made in relation to
(a) which technology was used, and
(b) how that technology was used?
Were/are there specific staff allocated to support/promote your organisation’s use/adoption of technology?
Which technology do you use the most and why?
2. 30 mins
Open session to address the following questions:
What is/are the biggest barriers facing your groups in relation to using technology to
a) communication with members
b) effectively get your message across to external audiences
What would help overcome these barriers?
Is there a communication technology that your group would like to use but currently do not? If so, what is it and why don’t you use it?
Which technology do you think has given your group the most benefit? For example, allowed effective communication internally/externally.
