On a recent airport pick-up I arrived early and went to their door to help them with their luggage. With the car loaded and the holidaymakers onboard I was welcomed with: “you’re taking the p***, how can it be 10.20 already – we’re not out of our street yet”! To which I replied: “it’s 10.20am, I’ve not put the meter on yet!
Ah well!
