A sun glint on Earth is captured (center of the black circle) in the middle frame of this series of images taken by NASA's Deep Impact spacecraft as it looked at the south pole in October 2009. The reddish areas are South America, Australia and Africa. Antarctica is at the center of the video, and the faint glint can be seen throughout the southern Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.
