Just hours after he held a news conference, his former spokesman, Andy Coulson, was arrested and freed on bail hours later .
Coulson was editor of the News of the World while the paper was paying investigators to hack into mobile phones. The paper has been in print for 168 years - but its last edition will be on Sunday.
