JD (U) President Sharad Yadav's open endorsement of Khap panchayats has ruffled quite a few feathers. Yadav on Sunday (Jan 6) claimed that Khaps were being unfairly blamed for trying to protect their daughters. But after a massive political row erupted over his comment, Yadav has issued a clarification alleging that his comments were misinterpreted.
