Still reeling from one of the biggest labor related accidents in its history, workers in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka rallied for better working conditions and workers' rights on May Day, May 1st.
Thousands of protesters marched through the streets carrying flags and posters - some with images from the recent building collapse in which nearly 400 people were killed.
The eight story building housed several garment factories and although it was declared structurally unsafe, it was still open for operation.
In Cambodia, more garment factory workers held rallies in the capital Phnom Pehn.
Protesters from 16 different labor unions and associates gathered to demand better working conditions and pay increases... They want at least $150 dollars a month. Right now they get $80 dollars a month.
