In an interview, Mamnoon Murshed Chowdhury, a prominent architect, talks about the blacklisted building of Dhaka City and the role of ministries and government bodies concerned regarding safety measurement. He informs that RAJUK has already blacklisted nine thousand and five hundred buildings as illegal of their area. Among them, Six thousand buildings have already been built and three thousand and five hundred more buildings are under construction who have incorporated illegal means in their construction process. Besides, 'Fire Service and Civil Defense' has invigilated eight hundred industrial building and blacklisted 243 of them as risky. Moreover, 'Factory Monitoring Cell' has enlisted 107 building as serious. He informs that the Director General to Fire Brigade has sent a list of those building to the 'Ministry of Home Affairs' and 'Ministry of Commerce'. He thinks it is important now to take actions against them and to bring people to justice.
